Thoughtful and sensitive analysis

These two are more thoughtful than your average film critic. They respect each other's intelligence and opinion and they take turns, giving each other time and space to speak at length without interrupting, during which they actually seem to be listening to one another and not simply waiting for their turn to speak. I'd be curious to hear them talk about 'The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover' if they have the stomach for it.

Best movie podcast

This is the best movie review podcast there is. Full stop. I really appreciate the breadth of movies they choose, and the gravitas with which they discuss them. What I really value is the time spent on each discussion - it really adds to my own appreciation of movies and, perhaps most importantly for a review podcast, helps me decide whether or not to a particular movie is worth my attention, and why or why not. For a reboot review, I’d love a discussion of David Lynch’s “Inland Empire.”

Great Podcast

Been a fan since day 1 and decided to finally give a review to this amazing podcast. They have a really great rapport and the sports references really keep it grounded and accessible (even though it’s still smart). I would love for you guys to review “Sholay” (1975). It’s an all time favorite Bollywood movie, essentially the best one according to the filmfare awards (India’s Oscars). I think this may have been the first movie I ever watched with my whole family. It has one of the greatest villains of all time as well. If you guys refuse to do Bollywood (ouch) I think a review of “A Matter of Life and Death” (1946). Just a really interesting movie with a cool moments of the eye closing. Would love to hear your thoughts on both!
