READING LENZ: Canoeing the Mountain w/ Kiersten Telzerow

LEADERSHIP JOURNEY: The Problem of Discipleship
The leadership journey requires a clear destination, otherwise we aren’t on a journey we’re just wandering around. Small groups have always been portrayed as an integral part of making discipleship. But what does that even mean? We use words like, “disciple” and “discipleship” but most of the time it’s surrounded by haze. It’s cluttered with feeling and impressions but without strong definition. Where did we even get the “D" word? As we explore the development of the term we’ll ask ourselves if this is the best we can do?

Fun & insightful podcast!
I love this podcast! It’s real, raw & informative regarding all things small group ministry! Host Carolyn Taketa is a small group master-sage & has an incredible ability to draw gold nuggets of wisdom out of her guests. The producer - Jason, seems like a real nice guy & I always like it when he appears at the end.
Thank you for providing this podcast! We are a newer church and are starting up small groups for the first time. This podcast has been such a great resource! Thank you!!!
I love the podcasts! It is helpful to hear how other people are dealing with some of the issues I have encountered. Pairing this with the SGN facebook page leaves me with few unanswered questions or things to think about. I would love to see the number of these increase over time!
