Episode 11 - America Are We There Yet

This review is based upon listening to Episode 11 - America Are We There Yet that contains powerful thought provoking and well produced content. Seems to be a sort of a nod to broadcasting segments from personalities like Paul Harvey, Andy Rooney, or even Denzel Washington as Malcolm X in the movie of the same name. Clean lyrics as described but maybe not 'squeaky' clean. Potentially a PG-13 rating might apply based upon some language. Overall a solid and worthy podcast that may be considered different from everything else out there. Maybe as if it could be plugged into a segment of CBC's Spark featuring Nora Young but not necessarily into This American Life or Radio Lab. I'm personally drawn podcasts that are a bit more of a conversation in some way. Something where I feel like I'm listening in and I'm a participant. A few that come to mind are Homemade Stories with Shannon Cason, This Week in Photo with Frederick Van Johnson, Microphone Check with Ali Shaheed Muhammd, and even Snap Judgement with Glynn Washington. GunnShots: Str8 From The Hip is quality programming that leans more towards traditional broadcasting.
