This week in the first episode of a new season Katie and Darren talk about Greta Gerwig's adaptation of Louisa May Alcott claasic novel Little Women. They chat about how this was the led up project to her taking on Barbie, her second film with both Saoirse Ronan & Timothée Chalamet, and also this is the first film  that Timmy & Florence Pugh got together in before they took on the iconic roles of Paul Atreides & Princess Irulan. Katie and Darren talk about The Outer Limits episodes that James Cameron watched before he made The Terminator, "Soldier" starring Lloyd Nolan & Catherine McLeod and "Demon with a Glass Hand" starring the great Robert Culp & Arlene Martel. Darren talks about how these are some of his favorite The Outer Limits episodes. The duo talks about what they liked, how the episodes have aged, and how they would have ruled on the Ellison/Cameron lawsuit. To end our long hiatus, Katie and Darren talk about The Halloween Tree. Based on a Ray Bradbury short story, this Hanna-Barbera animated tv film was made in one of the greatest decades of animated works, which might have lead to its obscurity.  It has Leonard Nimoy anchoring the voice actors. A long absents and we are back out of the gate with a tale from the master satirest William Shakespeare and starring one of the best romantic duos in Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. We are talking about the 1967 hit romantic comedy The Taming of the Shrew directed by Franco Zeffirelli. This rom-com has endeared and inspired a lot of modern day remakes. Also we ponder who could have also been a good screen couple to star in this film. Enjoy!

This week's movie is Prey, a sequel and prequel and everything we wanted in a new Predator movie. This film was one of the highlights of movies being dumped on streaming services in 2022. It is a cool action flick and worthy sequel of the Predator franchise. So come on and join us as we eat, love, and talk about Prey.
