TOW a Rooster, a Space Cowboy, and a Transponster

TOW a Rooster, a Space Cowboy, and a Transponster

It's S04E12, TOW the Embryos! While Phoebe is at the fertility doctor's having Frank and Alice's embryos implanted in her uterus, the rest of the gang is at Monica and Rachel's, where an innocent game of "who knows who best?" gets a bit out of hand, culminating with the girls losing their apartment to the guys! We also discuss pet peeves, how EVERYONE has hormones, and IVF vs. adoption.

    TOW Seven! Seven! Seven!

    TOW Seven! Seven! Seven!

Frank and Alice ask Phoebe for a wedding gift that’s a LOT nicer than a gravy boat. Joey gets a job at the museum where Ross works. Chandler is nervous about pleasing Kathy in bed, so Monica gives him a VERY memorable lesson.

We also discuss: appropriate gravy boat sizes, the likelihood of being able to recapture the Honeymoon Phase of a relationship, the questionable etymology of “mastodon,” why Chandler wasn’t scared of the puppy, and our opinions on what the “seven” are.

TOW Joey's Dragon, Phoebe's Holiday Song, and Ross's Love Train

TOW Joey's Dragon, Phoebe's Holiday Song, and Ross's Love Train

It’s TOW the Girl From Poughkeepsie! Joey poses as a waiter at Alessandro’s just so Monica can earn some respect by firing him, Phoebe composes a holiday song, and Ross test-drives (or rather, trains) a long-distance relationship. We also discuss Oreo-consumption messes, one of our favorite bloopers, restaurant lingo, and “Marilyn Montreal.”

TOW a Pinch of Partying, a Dash of Sabotage, and a Dollop of Job-Hopping

TOW a Pinch of Partying, a Dash of Sabotage, and a Dollop of Job-Hopping

We break down S04E09, TOW They're Going to Party while Heather drinks Cilantro Larry's Bloody Mary! We discuss: peanut butter spoon etiquette, international cooking skills, and stewing in your own filth (aka taking a bath).

TOW Monica the Pirate, Chandler the Contortionist, and Phoebe the Butter-Lover

TOW Monica the Pirate, Chandler the Contortionist, and Phoebe the Butter-Lover

Happy Thanksgiving, Marinairheads! Joey is still mad at Chandler about kissing Kathy, and Chandler tries to make it up to him by spending the holiday in a giant box. Monica gets ice in her eye and scratches her cornea, leading to a visit to the eye doctor — and a connection with Richard’s son, Tim. Meanwhile, Ross and Rachel bicker over the true meaning of “sentiment.” We also discuss: TVs in the bedroom, the origins of the phrase “Va fa Napoli,” and makeup in the Age of Covid.

TOW a Smooch, "The Sound," and a Secret Subplot

TOW a Smooch, "The Sound," and a Secret Subplot

Chandler kisses Kathy and feels so guilty about it that he refurnishes the apartment. Ross shares “The Sound: with the rest of the group, and, in a subplot that never made it to network television, Rachel goes out to eat by herself. We also discuss: low-maintenance eggs, dining out alone (yay or no way?), “shirt meringues,” and Chandler’s questionable memory.

Food, Fashion & Fun? Sign me up!

I love that this is a unique take on Friends: Food, Fashion, and Fun! I am a HUGE Friends fanatic and I have always loved the fashion (I would copy Rachel’s wardrobe in a second!) but I never thought to make a cocktail for each episode. I am so excited to try this! Elizabeth and Heather are true fans of Friends and have put a lot of thought and thoughtfulness into this podcast. I cannot wait to listen to more episodes! Keep up the great work!

It’s okay, I guess

I was recommended this podcast through another and have listened to a good handful of episodes. Unfortunately I don’t think I can listen any longer. The rants and tangents become so long that the hosts actually forget their talking about Friends. The few mentions of 90s fashion are interesting but other than that this podcast is a loss. Good luck saving the gorillas ladies. ✌🏻

Love listening to these two!

Such a fun take on my fave show...a great look at the food and fashion of Friends, but also just a lot of fun. Smiling as I listen now!
