Great podcast, but Heritage Foundation ad?
Oct 2
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a long time and as a very non-tech / non-internet person I love learning about the world through the hosts’ perspectives. Sadly the last episode I listened to ended with an ad from the Heritage Foundation. It was deeply distasteful. Probably an NYTimes decision, but I would urge the creators to look into this and push back against ad placements like this.
Solid, but flawed

Content is timely and interesting. One of the things that bothers me is that the two generally favor a top-down approach to the internet. They get dangerously close to infringing on First Amendment rights when they criticize things like AI slop and conspiracy theories, which is, ironically, a very authoritarian stance. Casey and Kevin need to let individuals be free to express themselves, regardless of whether they like the message.
Great content. Eliminate the “sort of’s” and “kind of’s”

Great chemistry. Informative content. The incessant use of filler “sort of” and “kind of” is distracting, annoying, and takes away from the intellectual merit of the conversation. Despite, it’s one of my favorite podcasts…sort of.
Wacky voices?

Love the content, but the cringy wacky voices make me want to turn away. Just talk normal guys, your audience isn’t composed of elementary school children.
