When you talk about trying to put together an All-Time All-Time starting 9 in Baseball History..the debate can be both entertaining and anger inducing. And when you think about the men who can even be considered for such an honor..you are talking about the 1% of the 1% of the 1%. While you can say George or Brooks or I can say Chipper..we might all really be keeping the seat warm for today's guest on HARDBALL. For your consideration..at 3B.. Michael Jack Schmidt

    HARDBALL PODCAST #7
It's easy sometimes to "look the part"
It's much more difficult to "play the part"
It's even more difficult when everything looks easy.
When "touched by God" is the easiest way to explain what you are seeing..knowing you really have never seen it before.
It's hard to have everything end perfectly..with a bow after the lights come up.
It's hardest of all to walk away with grace when it doesn't.
This is some of the Bo Jackson story

Something to share

Chris has a reverence for the game, the glory years, and the people of baseball that enhances the privilege of listening in on a private conversation. I suddenly have a strong urge to drive seven hours to see my dad and listen to a couple of these episodes together. Nothing more I can say.

Best podcast I listen too by far

This is the best podcast I have ever listened to. If you call yourself a baseball fan, you absolutely have to listen to this. These are not interviews with HOFers, it like two buddies telling stories. You are not going to get this anywhere else. And the list, it’s just amazing. Most of you know who Bo Jackson is. But you will know tons more in just one Episode. It’s so fascinating to hear the stories told by the HOFers that I never got a chance to see play, much less hear their in person stories of what it was like to play baseball way back when. I mean, listening to Phil Rizzuto and Stan Musial talk about the sport I played growing up and still love to this day is something you don’t get just anywhere. Give it a listen. You won’t regret it. Chris Dimino is the best baseball guy in the business. He has been doing this a long time and is well respected and these HOFers y’all to him like they have been buddies for 20 years.

Great Baseball Podcast

My friends and I have been going to the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction every year since 1991. We truly love baseball. This podcast captures the essence of our love for the game. We are always diving deeper to understand the game and it’s rich history. We are always looking for the new part of the story; the untold kernel in the familiar. Chris Dimino captures this essence in his podcast. His effort reminds me of Ken Burns’ Baseball.
