Brian rambles about his experience at Doctoberfest!
This past weekend was Who North America’s annual Fall Festival, Doctoberfest. Held on the grounds at Who NA since 2015, it’s grown from just a few games and activities, as well as a good excuse to shop for some Who merch. Starting last year, they added a second location at a nearby hotel with a free shuttle to & from, plus, a few guests via Zoom. For this year’s Doctoberfest, they brought in the wonderful Sophie Aldred as their very first celebrity, as well as a collection of fun panels, vendor’s room, and a costume contest. It was an incredible time.
Special thanks to the Who NA staff and the wonderful volunteers who helped put on such a fantastic day, as well as the friendly staff at the Courtyard by Marriott, Plainfield, IN.

If you’re not far from Camby, IN, and Who NA, give them a visit. They have a merchandise museum that’ll have you alternating between nostalgia and envy. They’ve also got the old Doctor Who pinball machine, a talking Dalek that greets you at the store, not to mention the incredible merchandise museum as well as a mind boggling amount of books, DVDs, t-shirts, stickers, action figures, magnets, magazines, Big Finish audios.
