We're back with Murder, She Wrote. This episode, Jessica inherits 4% of a football team left to her by an uncle who no one else in the family bothered showing up to the funeral for. We learn the meaning of the word intestate and still are not fully sure if you can buy stock in a sports team. This was a fun episode all about the footballs and reasons why you should never kill someone while wearing your nice clothes.

We're taking a diversion this episode. So pop open a nice cold Coors tallboy and join us as we talk about the first episode of Rian Johnson's Poker Face series. We also shop for lie detector tests which looks like a lot of fun...even though they also seem like garbage. But we would happily use one drunk...

A private detective Jessica is working with is murdered. She teams up with his grumpy partner to get to the bottom of things. This is the first episode to feature Jerry Orbach as Harry McGraw. Overall a fun episode and we attempt to give all of the suspects a rating. I think we called this one pretty early on.

Is this episode late? Extremely. But we're back with an extra long one on an ocean voyage. It may not be the Titanic, but murder is lurking at every turn as Jessica accompanies her niece, Pamela, who is dealing with the recent loss of her husband. Is this a swinger cruise? By the end, we seem to have convinced ourselves that it is. Does this episode feature Leslie Nielsen as a ship captain? You betcha. All we were missing was a salty pirate and an iceberg. 

Yet another music based episode. This time, Jessica is in New Orleans to be interviewed for a morning show. She ends up at a jazz club where a musician dies while performing. Of course, she's gonna have to get to the bottom of this. Jessica has a toe-tapping time with a lot of guest stars and plenty of jazz.
