In Case I am Found Dead, Blame it on No One But Me

Lemp Mansion is one of St. Louis’s grandest homes, which housed generations of one of the city’s most prominent — and troubled — families. Among tragic accounts of untreated mental illness and untimely deaths are stories of underground passages, false claims to the family fortune, rumors of a generational curse, and even a child hidden away in the attic. I Am Afraid All Hope is Gone For Your Boys

In the Naval Park in Buffalo, New York, three majestic ships float quietly in the water, part of a large-scale tribute to the United States Military and the sacrifices made by soldiers who were wounded or killed in the name of freedom. Many believe the ships to still be haunted by the men who served on them. Eyewitness accounts detail hearing phantom footsteps and mysterious whispers, objects flying across the room, and blurred faces in photos. Some people report seeing full-body apparitions in places where there are no other living people.

The Bloodiest 47 Acres in America

Missouri State Penitentiary was decommissioned in 2004, after nearly 170 years of brutal incarceration. But the stories of harsh punishments and austere living conditions still live on in the buildings today — in the people who come to visit the prison, and in the spirits who have stayed behind, replaying their years at what is sometimes called the “bloodiest 47 acres in America,” over and over into infinity. Love all the episodes

Love the history behind the episodes and the guests. I was wondering if you ever looked into the history of the copper country? Back in the day we were one of the biggest copper mines around. We have Ft Wilkins in Copper Harbor, the Calumet Theater, and numerous other haunted places if you look up the Italian hall disaster, you’ll find crooked mine owner that had scabs working for them, yell fire at the family Christmas Party. To get out you had to pull the doors inward to get out. Men, women, and Children got stamp, udon in suffocate to death. Just thought you’d enjoy looking into Upper Michighan’s history. Copper Harbor the very tip of Lake Superior, also the end of US41, by Fort Wilkins( haunted) also Calumet, Laurium, Houghton, and Hancock. It’s also a beautiful place to visit. Just make sure if you do want to see our beautiful part of the state, that you land in Houghton County Airport, and not in Houghton City. They aren’t even close.

Great mix of story & interview

Amy is amazing and pleasant to listen to, equal part story and interview with someone who works at the place of conversation that’s haunted. A really good podcast. Love it.

Oldschool Cat ,

Just fast-reading a list of trivia of the place

She speaks very fast. She tells about all things about the said subject as a grocery list. Very mediocre.
