Have Aloha Will Travel EP66: Talk Story with Local TikTok Celeb Kirsten Titus
If you're not big on TikTok, or social media, you may not have heard about Kirsten Titus—who joins Cat and Kevin today on this week's episode of the Have Aloha Will Travel podcast—but she's a big deal.
Going by the username @pepperonimuffin, she has amassed over 2.3 million followers on TikTok. You read that right,—million. Her Instagram account also has a total of 239 thousand followers, all of whom enjoy the matter-of-fact, lifestyle blogs she posts on her social media platforms. And on this episode of the HAWT-cast, the Oʻahu born-and-raised influencer educates Cat and Kevin on what it's like being a TikTok celeb, how she got so famous and some of her favorite Hawaiʻi spots.
Have Aloha Will Travel EP65: Hawaiʻi Q&A Part 2
It's time for round two of our Have Aloha Will Travel podcast Q&A super-show!
In case you missed it last week, we answered a slew of questions from readers and listeners, and Cat and Kevin return to the mics in this episode of HAWT to answer even more questions. What do the people want to know? A lot, apparently! The duo talks about beer breweries across the state, wheelchair-accessible activities and beaches on Oʻahu and how to move to Hawaiʻi—spoiler alert, it's hard.
Have Aloha Will Travel EP64: Hawaiʻi Q&A
It has been a hot minute since Cat and Kevin have taken questions from listeners and answered them, which is exactly what they do on this week's episode of the Have Aloha Will Travel podcast.
Have Aloha Will Travel EP63: Talk Story with Nick Kuchar and Tracey Kehler
Nick Kuchar (@nickkuchar) is no stranger on the Have Aloha Will Travel podcast, appearing on episode 35 of the podcast just over a year ago. This time, however, Kuchar is back on the show with his studio manager and jack-of-all-trades Tracey Kehler to talk shop about their new podcast, Secondary Colors, which will be releasing its first episode on August 15th.
Have Aloha Will Travel EP62: Ocean Safety with North Shore Lifeguard Kyle Foyle
There's no doubt about it, Hawaii's lifeguards are some of the best in the nation—if not the world. Not only do they have to contend with ever-changing ocean conditions, powerful north shore waves and a wide number of beaches to cover, but with the recent spike in travelers, they also have to make sure everybody stays safe.
On this week's episode of the Have Aloha Will Travel podcast, North Shore lieutenant lifeguard Kyle Foyle joins Cat and Kevin this week to discuss ocean safety and injury prevention when visiting Hawaii beaches.
Have Aloha Will Travel EP61: Maui Travelogue
In one of our longest episodes of the Have Aloha Will Travel podcast yet, Kevin talks all about his recent trip to Maui.
From rental car woes to catching a Haleakalā sunset, visiting the numerous businesses and shops throughout Haʻikū and staying at the truly luxurious Haʻikū House, Cat and Kevin talk at great lengths about the Valley Isle, so if you're planning a trip to Maui, this is the episode to watch!
Great podcast just kind of seems like it’s for high class travelers with lots of money to spend. The intern on the show is a military brat, again high class. Staying at Timbers on Kauai, unrealistic for most people as it’s 1k plus per night. Would like some more realistic travel ideas and tips. Just seems like everyone involved has expendable income..
This podcast is hosted by two people: Kevin and Cat. Cat does research, has knowledge, and speaks clearly. Kevin is the opposite: does no research, has no knowledge, and sounds like a stoned slacker. Sorry duuuude, but this podcast would be FAR better if Cat were producing it alone.
Waste of time
Too much “you know,” too much off topic conversation (don’t tell me about what you did in Seattle), not enough knowledge about the things they talk about (the bus is $2.75 by the way). I’ll try one more time but listening to this weeks episode is frustrating.
