True depiction to how cops can effect real people

Great podcast! I appreciate how they bring light to the impact the show cops can make on real people. It’s not a bash on police but a look into how live tv and media take advantage of people just to get a good rating. I hope the people effected stand up and fight against this kind of harassment.

Living in Spokane

Thank you for covering this story, especially the systematic racism Cops helps push. I living in Spokane, and as we do have addicts it isn’t what our city is about. Having lost someone in the County Jail(Spokane has had 9 death in a year and a half) I very much enjoyed the former LEOs discussing how prison time has not been effective of on the war on drugs. Thank you for doing this!

But only the poor

Although I am aware of this show and have seen segments of it. It wasn’t anything I ever considered it to be entertainingly if anything it is a depressing and degrading show to me.
I also consider it a yet one more way in which a powerful system takes advantage of the undereducated and poor.
I can’t imagine a show in which this treatment was given to people of means.
Why? Because people of means have lawyers who defend their rights. Better yet they know their rights and defend them
Poor undereducated individuals with handicaps and addiction issues do not
Congratulations on making millions
by taking advantage of these individuals
Don’t pretend it’s anything else
We live in a country where if you are willing to do some very ugly things and take advantage of the weaker we will be very successful. It’s really is sad
