Hello again and welcome to the third in this series of handy health tips from me, leading holistic nutritionist, Alison Cowell.

How can a food intolerance affect your life?
Food intolerances often go undiagnosed because people are unaware they have them. I was such a person! For many years I suffered with ‘IBS’ but eventually discovered that I had ulcerative colitis which was exacerbated by food intolerances. My enemies turned out to be eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms.
I meet many clients who suspect they have intolerances and who go on to eliminate gluten and/or dairy, only to be disappointed as their symptoms persisted. Whilst gluten and dairy are amongst the top 6 foods to be intolerant to, as you’ll discover in this show, you can be intolerant to absolutely anything you eat, no matter how healthy or organic it may be!
