Heart of the Bison Podcast

I stumbled on this podcast because I was looking for an informational podcast about Bison ranching - and I needed this epidsode on identity. I am so thankful that I stumbled on this and will keep listening to the rest of the episodes because of how real and transparent the hosts are. That is what real faith and love are about. Thanks.

"Stay in the struggle"

Jake and Jen are the real deal. They've created a platform for Christ followers, those who have and continue to fight through storms, in order to share, lay themselves bare and encourage others in the struggle in so many ways. Jake and Jen's willingness to not make the podcast about them, but to simply give a voice to those who are fighting the good fight, silently, joyfully, painfully, fervently and faithfully serving at the feet of Jesus, while allowing us to hear and see Jake and Jen's beautiful souls, realness and ridiculousness, creates one of the best podcasts.

This podcast is needed, and it is well worth your time. As an avid podcast listener, I find that many podcasts try to bill themselves as inspirational. That said, my experience has been that the vast majority of "inspirational" podcasts leave me feeling empty and without a true basis for hope. This podcast is different. What I appreciate most is its authenticity. It is real. It is relatable. It is unique. Not many podcasts are hosted by a husband-wife team, which adds depth and interaction that you do not normally find. All of us are in the midst of struggle in some way. If you are looking for a few minutes to remind you that you can face your storm, CHECK IT OUT!
