The Heavy Metal Historian is a true scholar

Great for metal fans

I just discovered this podcast recently and fell in love with it. Shortly after, I discovered that the creator (Greg) passed away recently, and thats why there aren’t any new episodes.

RIP my dude, your podcasts are great and you deserve this five star

Pure gold

This is some of the most definitive work on subject, particularly because the author shows his work. He also grasps the importance of primary sources and keeps options to a minimum.

If you love metal, this is a must listen.
If you like music history, it’s highly useful.
...and, as the LA Riot episode shows, it’s even good for social scientists.
