Welcome to my podcast: Help Me Learn Spanish, Joel. Thank you for considering listening to my podcast to help you learn Spanish, improve your Spanish and help you reach your ultimate goal to speak Spanish. This is a podcast for those of you who are high beginners and intermediate learners of Spanish.
In this podcast, you can learn how we speak Spanish in everyday language and how we talk about simple and ordinary tasks in life and learn grammar in context. You will hear conversations between two native speakers, and we will have different guests from different countries so that you can improve your listening and comprehension skill.
My name is Joel Zárate. I speak five languages, I hold two masters’ degrees, and my area of specialization is Second Language Acquisition, how we learn languages. I do my best to apply my knowledge when I designed the episodes so that you can get the best quality in learning materials.

Best Podcast for leaning Spanish
This podcast trains, your ear, to understand Spanish. I have found this podcast to be very helpful. Better than anything I have used before to learn Spanish.
Perfect for beginners
I love this series because there is lots of repeated phrases in the conversation. You know we have to learn as toddlers learn when we know nothing. And to hear the phrases said in different ways really helps comprehension too. The relevancy of the topics is awesome. I use the subjects discussed in these podcasts to speak to my art teacher who is a native Spanish speaker. Please keep this series going!!
Just what I’ve been looking for!
There are many, many early beginner and advanced/upper intermediate podcasts — but it’s hard to find o ones that hit this upper beginner/intermediate sweet spot so perfectly! I’m very thankful to Joel for making such an entertaining, conversational podcast that can help me advance my listening skills to the next level.
