Henri the Hero: Life After Loss (What They Don’t Tell You In Losing Your Heartdog‪)‬ Little Bit of Life

    • Entertainment News

Losing a pet is something that doesn’t come with a rule book, and often times you don’t know how you’ll feel until you’re in the moment of sadness, happiness, grief, and a longing for a sign. Their beauty and innocence comes into our lives, and changes us forever. The quotes always say “we are their whole life, they’re a part of ours”. Especially our heart dog. Grief is spoken about including the stages, when losing someone in our lives. But so often “what to expect” isn’t discussed when losing a pet. The ups & downs of concern, the loss and the quietness of the house, and what the journey looks like not just for the owner but those connected surrounding the bond of owner/dog. After losing my beloved boy Rupert, I went through the grief with others around me that had been through it prior, and a close friend who went through it after. Hearing that my feelings and emotions were “normal” helped me in my grieving stage. It made me realize the loss of a pet makes us feel so alone! I sit with frenchie owner and author, Samantha Childs, about her beloved Frenchie Henri. How her story of tragedy being shared helped with treatment of animals and a quest for answers. We talk about Henri, Rupert, and truly catch a magical moment on camera that you’d never expect! Be sure to see it on the Little Bit of Life Podcast Youtube Channel!
