KEYNOTE: New Herbal Uses in the 21st Century | Howie Brounstein HerbRally

    • Alternative Health

Today's episode is Howie Brounstein's keynote from the 2019 Breitenbush Herbal Conference.
We were lucky enough to find out a former student of Howie's was in the audience and they recorded it from their phone.
Since it was recorded on a phone, the audio is a wee bit wonky.
That said, Howie did take some time to clean up the sound a bit. It's definitely listenable and there are many gems and takeaways!
I had the honor of being co-organizer of this event and was so thrilled that Howie gave the first keynote to kick off the weekend.
This was right before Rising Appalachia took the stage!
Howie was my first herbal mentor (along with Steven Yeager).
He is the owner and lead instructor at the Columbines School of Botanical Studies.
If you're looking for an herbalism apprenticeship with a heavy focus on botany, wildcrafting, herbalism and anatomy and physiology, I can't recommend his school enough.

He's always posting great herbal content!
Thanks again to Howie for sharing this audio, and thanks to y'all for listening!
