Interesting about tastes, saliva, etc

During the Covid-19 pandemic, lots of victims of this horrible virus suffered from taste-loss of various items many of which they had previously loved. I also suffered from a sudden total dislike of coffee - and I was a total fan of coffee and espresso and into all sorts of gadgets. Suddenly I could not stand the smell of it or the taste of it. I am now wondering if this was a physical change or a psychological change…our bodies are so extraordinary and your podcasts are scratching the surface of some very interesting things.

Love the interaction!

Thank you Chef for sharing your brain! I was drinking wine and chewing gum right along with you... almost drowned in my own spit! 😜

Great podcast, but the audio...

If you’re a fan of adventurous eating or any kind of creating, Heston’s podcast is a must listen. I’d rate the podcast 5 stars if the audio was better. The audio level needs to be normalized, or Heston just needs to learn how to use a microphone. It sounds as if he’s looking all around the room, only occasionally speaking into, or even swallowing, the mic. He’s got a Lina Lamont from Singing in the Rain problem.
