Negative review, seriously?

Anyone who posted a negative review about Lauren and this podcast losing its way or whatever the verbiage was has never sat through a trial and has no f ing clue what it takes to do that. I have been a paralegal for 35 years and assisted in numerous trials. You live, eat, and breathe the trial. It is physically and emotionally exhausting at times and a major adrenaline rush other times. To be a journalist/podalist is no small feat. Lauren has done an amazing job of summarizing this trial with a fully invested sense of commitment to the justice system and trial process, as well as summarizing and putting into context what the testimony of various witnesses means to the case as a whole. I am sure that Dr. John will provide his insight when able. Until then, Lauren is the closest we get to being there ourselves! Thank you Lauren.

BonewellFam ,

Incredible!

I think you guys do SUCH a fantastic job recapping the trial for all of us who can’t sit and watch or listen to all the hours it entails. I look forward to each and every episode you guys share on this case. I tell everyone I know to listen to your podcast if they are wanting to follow this trial! Thank you so much for all your time, effort and dedication!

Good Effort, But….

I find it disgusting how Lauren is such a pro at charming (manipulating) her way into the lives of the victims families as well as anyone she can use to bolster her ego and who she can use to delete any contrary comments on her videos (her ‘moderators’). She literally has built what seems like a cult like following. She has an uncanny (manipulative) ability to make people feel like they are her best friend and it is so sad that they don’t see they are being used by her! All of the family members of both the killers in the Daybell case and their family members have seemingly become her ‘best friends’, and they believe she is sincere when in reality it’s because she uses them as feeders of information for her podcasts and videos! These ‘friendships’ she has with the victims families are clouding her judgement on some of the deeper points in this case. For example, We have recently learned through testimony that Tammy Daybell was a believer in Chad’s doctrines but because Lauren has embedded herself with ‘Aunt Vicky’, Tammy Daybell’s aunt, she isn’t able to ask the tough questions about Tammy’s possible knowledge of what happened to the kids- as a true journalist would! These kids were buried on HER property PRIOR to her death- we know she believed in the dark/light scale so what, if anything, could she have known? I’m not saying she should have been murdered- no one should have been- but it does raise a lot of questions about what she may have known. Lauren’s videos have gone from being informative and interesting to a gossip girl format and she churns out so much content in order to make as much money possible off of these tragic deaths. Where Lauren truly excels is in her own individual edited podcasts. She has a great voice for reporting and they are more pulled together and not as ‘manic’ and disjointed as her lives are. Even when she does them with her husband, the are disorganized and they always have audio/technical issues. He never gets out what he wants to say because she interrupts and is constantly giving shout outs to those giving superchats. You guys can do better!
