For most of my adult life, I have spent a few hours a day on one of Londons busy commuter trains. It has given me time to think. I have often stared out of the window and felt like I was missing something, some meaning. This podcast is a search for that meaning and in each series, we will explore something new, I will try on new ways of living and thinking like a new pair of shoes, and let you know how it feels, the comfortable and uncomfortable parts. Plug yourself in and listen along with me up close and for real.

In this first series running up to Christmas and into the new year, I will be sharing with you my experience of Christianity. The silence and noise of living like a believer, through church with Christians and at home alone with my thoughts and prayers. You are invited in to listen alongside me throughout my journey as I engage with it up close and for real. I don’t believe in God, and I am not looking to be converted if lightning strikes me so be it, but that is not my intention. My instinct tells me there is meaning in the forgotten and overlooked, the ordinary things that I walk past every day or maybe don’t even recognise. I am hoping the lives of others may unlock wisdom and open a window into something previously unfound. Something that was there all along maybe, something, hiding in plain sight

Excellent

I’ve been a Christian for two decades and sometimes I forget what Christianity is all about. I’m really enjoying this outsider’s look at Christianity and am encouraged by the stories to live a more authentic faith again that would point people to Jesus
