Xavier University of Louisiana men’s and women’s tennis coach Alan Green has been named ITA/NAIA National Coach of the Year three times and 25 other coaching awards. The New Orleans native was 2022 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year. He spoke about the challenges of collegiate tennis while his teams were competing in the HBCU National Tennis Championships.
