These were great

I enjoyed these lectures and use some of the information to teach to my own jr. high students.
A very enjoyable introduction to American History

Highly recommended for people who want to have an overview of American History and do not have time to do hard reading ((or do not feel like it). As a foreigner visiting the States for the first time, It helped me understand a bit more this country.
More of the same

Just another stereotypical "professor". One sided opinion history written off as objective with little subtle tidbits of sensationalism just "thrown around". Way to go, you sound just like everyone else in your field, almost like some sort of mimicking bird.
Informative for students despite low quality recording

To those who complained about the sound...who cares if the recording isn't grade A production...he delivers the information well enough that you are able to understand it and apply it. He is a good instructor too. Well worth the download if you are using it as a refresher or in addtion to current studies of US History to 1877ish.
