Customer Reviews
On Second Thought:
My original review said that though this podcast is rich in little-known info, it’s ruined by the host’s horrible narration! (C’mon, at least learn that the subjects of this thing are COMIC BOOKS, not “Com-biks”!)
But after sampling other podcasts on the same subject, I’ve found this one contains more juicy tidbits on my favorite thing in the world, Golden Age Com-Biks”!
The factoids about Martin Goodman, Jerry Siegel, Fiction House, et al, keep me coming back...
JT, I used to teach broadcasting...I’ll trade you a couple of elocution lessons for a Very Good copy of Action #50!
Ugh. Slow Down!
Dude. Slow down and enunciate your words. It’s not just rambling. Combination of mush mouth, speed talking and very clearly not doing a practice run (or several) before throwing the podcast up. Content is not that bad (but not great) but should learn some basic broadcasting skills before creating a podcast. Would suggest checking out “Stuff You Should Know,” Titan up the Defense,” or even Alex Baldwins podcast to get an idea how to talk clearly, slowly and cleanly.
