Holding Space for Secondary Fertility Challenges with Jamie Van Zanen The New Mama Mentor®

    • Parenting

Jamie Van Zanen is an LCSW who likes to lead with four simple words: grief is her jam! For nearly a decade, she worked as a hospice social worker providing anticipatory grief and loss support, resource navigation, and end-of-life care and guidance for patients and their families. Following her unexpected fertility journey and eventual birth of motherhood, she was inspired to support individuals and families at the start of life.
Intimately familiar with personal loss, infertility, and motherhood, she found it an absolute honor when allowed to support others through their journeys of uncertainty and hope. Anxiety, depression, grief? Bring it! She is especially passionate about working with those navigating fertility treatment, pregnancy after infertility, grief and loss, individuals living with cancer and associated fertility and parenting challenges, and new moms coping with unexpected moods and evolving identity.
Currently the Director of Fertility Programs at Family Tree Wellness- a fabulous group practice dedicated to supporting reproductive mental health in California, she has helped to create and facilitate FREE fertility support groups that are available nearly every week of the year via zoom:
*General Fertility Support Group
*Secondary Fertility Support Group
*Pregnancy After Infertility Support Group
