Yo, yo, yo, yo! Who dropped the deuce? Wait, was that me? Holy Flamingo Poop, or HFP, is the stink-lined brain feces of one Andrew Marc Rowe, an author in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. It’s a mix of interviews with other authors and semi-coherent ramblings from the man himself. Smeller discretion advised.

I had the immense pleasure of sitting down for a conversation with Nicole Little on this episode of HFP. Nicole is a fellow genre fiction author from Newfoundland - Catalina represent! This was an incredibly fun discussion - lots of laughs, lots of insight into Nicole's professional life. I've read two of Nicole's books at this point - Slipstreamers: The Lotus Fountain and Roxy Buckles and the Flight of the Sparrow. Both are great (reviews on my website).

    Encanto

    Encanto

I’m back! This is the first episode in over a year (!) I apologize in advance for the sound quality - there was a bit of a background hum from the air exchanger. This bird c**a is more on the holy side of things. It’s titled ‘Encanto’ - it’s chiefly a bit about a miracle that I experienced down in Spanish-speaking South America. It also partly explains my absence for the past several months.

I’ve been laying fallow… now it’s time to spread that seed!

    D.M. Guay

    D.M. Guay

It was a pleasure and an honour to speak with D.M. Guay, author of the 24/7 Demon Mart series this month. Her books are absolutely riotous - I’ve read both The Graveyard Shift (Book One) and Monster Burger (Book Two). Imagine Kwik-E-Mart Americana mashed up with Faustian devil-deal hellfire mythology for the first, the second is an ode to zombie film and other media. I’ve five-starred both of them - if you like to laugh, check them out.

But not before you listen to Denise talk a bit about herself and her work. This was a fascinating conversation, and after having spoken with her, I can tell you that her books seem to me to be a true expression of her personality, for whatever that’s worth. Pure authenticity here.

Legend Of The Silver Codpiece pt. 1

Legend Of The Silver Codpiece pt. 1

In this episode of divine bird shit, I talk smack about The Bawdy Bard #2, Legend Of The Silver Codpiece, which is dropping June 15. I'm so pumped to send this one into the world - I get into a little discussion about how the story came about, how it relates to the previous books I've written. Also a few brief zingers about the books I've read since the last update.

    Jennifer Shelby

    Jennifer Shelby

It was truly my pleasure to speak with fellow Atlantic Canadian author Jennifer Shelby for episode 5 of the divine bird dump. We get into discussions of Jenn's inspiration, her life as a nature girl, and a story that left me speechless (for a verbal diarrhea jockey, that's a feat). I feel blessed by the poopy heavens above to have met Jenn and be able to call her friend. She's also a brilliant author - check her out at https://jennifershelby.blog

No video on this one - Jenn's a nature girl through and through. Off grid and over the phone.

    Kiss Of The Scarab

    Kiss Of The Scarab

In this episode, we talk blue poo. In actuality, we get into the launch of Kiss Of The Scarab: A Ghost Story, the Thoth Quadrilogy, some of the philosophical fluff that goes into it, and I basically provide you with some verbal diarrhea for about a half hour.

Hey, I don't call it Holy Flamingo Poop for nothing.
