    Amazing Grace - A Chance Encounter

    I've played "Amazing Grace" for years. It's my 'go-to' song. Whatever my circumstance, my hopes, challenges, whatever time of day or place--the melody and lyrics conjure the sense of eternity and redemption, born of the transfigured conscience of John Newton, a former slave ship captain in England in the late 1700's. One afternoon, more than two hundred years after Newton composed this hymn, here on this side of the planet, DownUnder, I met 'by chance' a man and his wife who had an uncanny connection to this music. As we spoke, they shed light on the significance of the song I've loved for years. As I share this story, I recall the striking insight that, "there are no coincidences," offered by the great Miles Davis, a legend whose presence, likewise, came into my life in an uncanny way--through the fabulous Garth Webber, a guitarist who played and toured with Miles, and with whom I've had the joy of collaborating.     In this time of AI, we're being challenged to recognize what IS authentic, and to ask ourselves who are we, REALLY? In that light, I'm sharing this little story. It's an encounter with a little boy and his mom in a shop here in my village. The conversation with this boy was precious and innocent. It has stayed with me.     Once upon a time, there was a very special person--a woman who stood barely five feet tall, but whose love illuminated everything she encountered. When I was a little girl, she came to be with me as my nanny. As time went on, her care would nurture my life and my soul. Years later, we were walking together in New York City. That experience is what I share with you here--her admiration for a tiny flower growing from the subway grate, somehow surviving the bustling crowds, created a timeless moment I'll remember always--a glimpse of Heaven on Earth.     This podcast episode, with original piano music, describes the source of the electromagnetic radiation that impacted me and changed my life. In the direct line of a new 15gHz parabolic radio receiver installed nearby, it became difficult to function, with many physical and cognitive effects. As a result, I sought refuge at the ocean amidst the ancient rocks and calming atmosphere of the sea. (See recent "Homecoming with Jessica" podcast videos.)     This video, enhanced by piano music, is inspired by the UFO (UAP) sightings that are igniting global interest at an unprecedented level. I see this phenomena as incredibly positive because of my own recent situation... Several months ago, a life-changing circumstance meant that I could not be in my home safely. I was forced to spend hours in the nurturing presence of the ocean, a place where I received extraordinary insights from the natural and spiritual realms. In following this direction, miracles happened. I entered into a mystical state of being, where deep listening helps me access guidance from sources seen and unseen. This is the first time that I've shared these experiences and sensitivity to "otherwordly" phenomena. From this consciousness, I believe that the emergence of UFO/UAP phenomena are giving us a profound opportunity to listen and learn.
