If you’re looking for a true crime podcast without the chit chat and nonsense...this is it! I started this podcast for those of you who are like me and don’t care for the chit chat and just want to get to the true crime part!

I’m a small town girl from Minnesota who loves talking about 2 things...homicide and hotdish!

Each episode will discuss a homicide and a recipe. I will share the full recipes on our Facebook & Instagram pages (Homicide and Hotdish) and will BRIEFLY talk about them at the beginning of the episodes. And when I say briefly I mean like literally 10 seconds :)

The murders of Robert DePaul and August Dempsey

The murders of Robert DePaul and August Dempsey

Two nextdoor neighbors who once had a father/son relationship quickly become enemies over something as mundane as a property fence. As the tension boils, they continuously take jabs at each other. What starts out with childish moves like pouring maggots on the other's front steps, ends up taking a turn for the worst when two people end up murdered.

Great Pod!

Well researched and easy to listen to. Reminds me a little of my all time fav pod, Crime-Junkie!

5 stars!

Definitely one of the better true crime podcasts out there! There’s no messing around and the host gets right into the case. She does mention a recipe at the beginning of each episode but it’s very quick (under a minute). Every episode is very well researched. Can’t wait for the next episode!

Using what should be known as outdated and proven dangerous rhetoric on how YOU think domestic violence victims and survivors would have disclosed or shared about their abuse and doubting it even happened because the only proof is that they say it did perpetuates the suppression of a people coming forward and escaping their situations. People die every day at the hands of their abusers - over 16,000 people annually. Im sure they all dont fit your guidelines on how they should have acted as victims. Truely disgusting
