How can we get the most out of ourselves? We know there's so much more we can be, do and have. If you and I met weekly for coffee to talk about what we're learning and what we're going through, this is that podcast. Stories from our experiences and the lessons we got from them. Big ideas from books, interesting research on self help, ways to improve our mindset, productivity, and discussions about entrepreneurship, money, and health. Great conversations and stories that will help, inspire, and educate us to discover how we can live our best life.
I want to be your friend that discusses what I'm learning about myself and what I am doing in order to bring out the best version of myself that I know is inside of me.
I don't have all the answers. I'm not a guru. I'm a regular guy who doesn't want to live a life full of regret. I know there's so much more I can do in my life and I want to learn how to bring out the best of me.
In order to do that I have to challenge myself and my current way of thinking. I have to educate myself and learn from others. I have to experiment and see what works for me and what doesn't. And as I do, I'll share with you what I'm learning along the way. I know I'm not the only one feeling this way so I want to create this podcast for others like me.
I'm here to be your guide as you navigate through your own life. I know you want to do more in life as well and I hope I can inspire you along the way.
Let's become the person we want to be in order to make the most of out of life and make it a happy and fulfilling one with no regrets.
Life moves pretty fast. Here’s how to slow it down.
We've all heard the saying time flies when you're having fun.
I actually disagree with that. In my experience, time goes by slower when I'm having fun or experiencing something new like when I'm on vacation or quarantined for 14 days.
I wondered why that is and finally I did some research so I can understand and can get more of that feeling of time going by slower in my life.
As I get older, I don't want time to feel like time flies by.
Crazy story about how far one Navy seal pushed himself to succeed
In this episode I'm going to share with you a crazy story about what sailors have to go through in order to become NAVY seals and in particular a story of one person who was willing to die in order to not fail.
Thankfully for what most of us want to achieve we don't have to experience near death to achieve it.
But for those that want to become a Navy SEAL, it's what they have to face.
For the vast majority of us our dream isn't to be a NAVY SEAL, but we can still learn from their mindset to help us achieve our dreams especially when it gets difficult.
16 Famous People who Found Success Despite Failures
This episode is for you if you need some motivation and inspiration in the face of failure. Each person, who's wildly successful now, showed that there is no success without failure.
Each of them had a strong conviction in what they were doing and didn't let rejection stop them. Imagine if they had listened to other people including those that thought they knew better.
And one last important point I want you to take away from today's episode. Before they became household names they were unknowns. They were beginners all struggling to find someone to give them a chance and they didn't give up on their dreams.
I hope these examples have inspired you and keep you going despite any setbacks you have faced or will face in the future.

When I think back to pivotal moments in my life todays' episode is right up there. When faced with huge decisions, they're scary at the time. So much doubt and uncertainty for choosing the unknown path.
But something inside us tells us it's time. We have to make that choice despite how nervous we are. We have to take that leap of faith and see how it goes.
We've got to take that chance and not wait any longer for the perfect time.
The decision to quit my job that I had been doing for over 10 years was huge for me. Life changing decision. Scary decision. It was not an easy decision to make but when I did I had to burn my ships.
Feel the Fear and Do it Anyways
Sometimes you just have to feel the fear and do it anyways. That's how I'm feeling right now as I launch this podcast. It's been in the works for well over a year because of fear that held me back.

Benny is inspiring because he comes off as an average person that is able to make things happen. There are so many obstacles in life that come up that can stop you. Benny has been willing to do the work and get the rewards. I really appreciate his example.
I know Benny from his old podcast and from some email exchanges we had years ago where he took the time to give me advice. He is a good guy.
