    Episode 12 - Italian Plumbing At Its Finest - 8 First Times With Mario

    It was a lovely Saturday evening. The sun was still up, the temperature just right, a nice bar with a garden literally around the corner... So naturally we decided to stay in, order some food, down a bottle of wine and play through the first level of every (mainline) Super Mario game from 1985 all the way to the present day. Do they still hold up? Do they make you wanna play the rest of the game? Or are they just not as good as our nostalgic, kinda tipsy brains remember them to be?     In this week's episode everyone's worst nightmares come true: You're in the cinema wedged between two of the most mid podcasters you'll ever meet. One won't let you miss even the tiniest reference made in the film, while also being very physically expressive about it. The other has a laugh so obnoxious and ill timed, that you can't help but wonder, how he ever made it to his mid thirties... Both have opinions on everything they see.
