Lora Brewing | Wildflower Brewing | Chase Saraiva

(NSFW) This episode an old friend of the show, and former AZ Wilderness Head Brewer Chase Saraiva stops by the studio. The guys reminisce about the first time Chase was on the show. They rehash old inside jokes and create a bunch more. Chase brings a lager to share with the guys. Ed quickly indoctrinates Chase into the Hoppy Lager Bois lifestyle club. Chris has to share some harsh truths with his former BFF Chase about his disdain for Lagers and Farmhouse style ales. Chase gets to officially go through the rapid round. He then recounts his tale of how a short couple of months in Australia turned into a few years there. Finally we get to hear about what his plans are for the future and what we can expect coming out of Lora Brewing in the next couple of months.

New Brew Old News | Ad Astra Bottle Review

(NSFW) On this episode of Road Sodas Ed and Chris sit down and try a new brew and go over some old news again. This week the new brew was given to them by Ad Astra Brewing Company to try and give their honest opinion on it. For those that have heard the show before, know that they are nothing but honest when it comes to brew reviews. They go over their adventures after the road trip up to Wren House in Prescott. They got more beer and food in downtown Prescott at Lazy G's Brewing, Park Plaza Liquor and Deli, and Ad Astra Brewing Company. Old Breaking News, downtown Mesa is becoming a beer destination. Chris becomes instantly sad at this news, since he no longer lives near there. Ed gets angry about Stone Brewing's Greg Koch "eulogy" style announcement about Marin Brewing closing. The trend of low calorie and N/A beers continues with Guinness and Deschutes Brewery releasing new brews. Another great source of beer, a health blog, puts out the best beer spot in Arizona.
Road Sodas: An alcoholic beverage (usually beer or perhaps malt liquor) consumed inside a moving vehicle. This beverage can be consumed by passenger, driver, or both. Road sodas are illegal in most states due to open container laws. Still, they are widely enjoyed as evidenced by all the beer cans littering rural road sides.

Wren House Brewing | The Prairie Patio

(NSFW) This week Nate, Ed, and Chris all head up to Wren House Brewing's latest addition The Prairie Patio. Which, weather permitting, serves up delicious beers on their rustic patio with incredible views of the surrounding Prescott Air Park area. They sit down with their old friend, and head brewer Luke Wortendyke aka Cool Hand Dub. They sip on some ultra fresh cans of Above Snakes, and Spellbinder. Nate can hardly contain himself, on how fresh these cans are. They go over all the details of the new production facility and how it compares to his old brewing space. More so, they get into how this all came about, and how Luke got himself stationed at The Prairie Patio. Enjoi! Our Guest Info: Wren House Brewing

Trevors Liquor and Dark Sky Brewing | Ghostkeeper

(NSFW) Chris and Ed finally get to go somewhere! The now infamous Trevor's Liquor that Chris is always talking about. Side note: Ed loves it now too. But, they get to talk to craft beer aficionado and buyer for Trevor's, Aaron Heyman. They are also joined on the show by Ryan... Ryan Sandlin of Dark Sky Brewing. Who just show happens to be in town for Arizona Beer Week, and hanging out promoting their collaboration with Trevor's called Ghostkeeper. A big barrel aged stout, conditioned on pistachios, cocoa, and vanilla. It was great catching up, and putting Ryan back through the rapid round, as well as introducing Aaron to it. Copper State Beerfest | Cöld Brüe Pödcast Interview

Copper State Beerfest | Cöld Brüe Pödcast Interview

(NSFW) In this episode of Road Sodas it's a rare Chris-less show, but he still manages to tell a bad joke. Ed takes on the hosting duties solo but he isn't alone. Greg From Cöld Brüe Pödcast made the hour-long drive to the studio to give his first hand account of the Copper State beer Festival, but first he's put through the “not so rapid” round. The show is a little longer than the typical Road Sodas episode but that's what happens when you bring on someone who is used to hosting their own show. Don't worry Ed will never be left alone again. Thanks for listening, tell a friend!
