What better way to come back to the pod from a long break than with a slasher-ific genetically altered serial killer snowman horror flick from our childhood—1997's Jack Frost? Horror Host Trav and Producer Kate have missed the mic and all our listeners. Catch up with us, find out what's been going on, what we've been watching, and which Jack Frost scenes had us rolling.

Ep 117: Deep Red with Rose
Horror Host Travis takes on a trip to Italia to investigate a grisly series of creepy murders with everyone but the police it seems in this week's episode about Dario Argento's 1975 Giallo classic, Deep Red. We all know the Creature is a mark for this genre. But were the impeccable jams of this film's score enough to earn it high ratings from Rose and Producer Kate? There's only one way to find out.

Ep 116: 30 Days of Night with Rose
Happy Halloweeeeeen! It's a brutal, bleak, bloody anniversary for the HMF crew. Wife of Creature Rose joins us to talk about the 2007 vampire horror flick 30 Days of Night, directed by David Slade. This movie has uber nostalgia for Horror Host Travis and his wife, and this was Producer Kate's first time seeing it ever. Did we like these vicious, romance-less vampires? Does the story and production hold up to 2022 standards? Got to listen to find out!

Ep 115: Halloween Ends with Slasher Rob
Spoiler Warning! Horror Host Trav, Producer Kate and show regular Slasher Rob really dissect the last in the latest Halloween franchise trilogy—Halloween Ends, directed by David Gordon Green. Much like the rest of the internet—one of us loved it; one of us HATED it; one of us was a bit meh. Can you guess which of us thought which? You gotta listen to find out.

Ep 114: The Hills Have Eyes (2006)
Horror Host Trav picked a controversial one for our first episode with Slasher Rob's lady Moriah. We got nostalgic with The Hills Have Eyes (2006) directed by Alexandre Aja. What did we love about this mutated desert cannibal flick? What did we hate? You gotta listen to find out.

Ep 113: Barbarian Review
Horror Host Trav goes solo to review Zach Kregger's Barbarian, the horror flick splitting audiences and rocking the horror world right now. Get his spoiler-free initial thoughts at the beginning, but because of the nature of this film, he jumps into spoiler territory pretty quick. Listen for that warning!
