Horror is fun and important. Orrin and Tyler look at a movie each episode and examine what is good, what is bad, and how it could be used in the classroom or out of the classroom to teach us something about ourselves.

The Best Little Horror Podcast Outta KC

Horror Pod Class is, haunts down, my favorite podcast. I really only got into podcasts a couple years ago, and this one? Consistently interesting. I enjoyed the co-host chemistry and banter in Freshman and Sophomore years, and I’m loving the knowledge that the OG Monster Ambassador drops every time.

The content stays varied and fresh, and I hear about good stuff each time — which is why I tend to fall off on most horror podcasts, whether about film or fiction. When people talk about “they’re doing the Lord’s work,” they’re talking about the Horror Pod Class crew doing the work of the Lord Of Darkness. Y’all take care, stay frosty, and keep up the AMAZING work.

Amazing must listen podcast about horror

An amazingly plotted and approachable conversation about the merits of horror as a genre in writing. Tons of recommendations and knowledge brought by host Orrin Grey, who is a writer everyone should read as well as a burgeoning saint of KC. Ty Unsell brings a practical ethos and political insight to many of these stories. Excellent, so excellent.
