Strikes a Balance
Sir Ian Dangerous dispenses some gold every October and walks us through various decades and styles of horror, striking a perfect balance between meticulous horror movie analysis and accessible and conversational discussion, turning his "one man show" into a well-researched but casual and fun walkthrough of what he's found digging through both the high-art horror catalog and the bargain bin pile of schlocky goodness. It will enthuse you and make you want to explore some hidden gems, along with revisting favorites and seeing the classics in a new way. The most negative aspect is that he only does this 1/12 of the year!
Amazing Podcast!
I have been listening to this for 3 years and love it every year. i always have a huge list of new horror movies to watch and the insightful breakdowns are great to listen to before watching the movie so i have a better understanding of what the director is trying to tell us, especially for people like myself that didn't get the opportunity to go to a film school. i feel like it is almost like a college course in horror with Sir Ian Dangerous as the amazing Professor

I wait for this podcast to come out every October. It’s a great guide if you want to broaden your horror horizons. I love the intellectual breakdown of each film, and the yearly theme. Each episode is juicy! Two thumbs up!
