Today I speak with Johnny Compton, his debut novel The Spite House is coming out February 7, 2023 and is up for pre-order right now. We discussed Ingmar Bergman's only horror movie, Hour of the Wolf, a trippy, nightmare inducing walk thru the dream world.  It's a Swedish psychological horror film starring Max von Sydow and Liv Ullmann. The story explores the disappearance of fictional painter Johan Borg (von Sydow), who lived on an island with his wife Alma while plagued with frightening visions and insomnia.
