Loving it

I listen to most of the other Ringer pods but just finally checked this out after years of agreeing with the hosts opinions when they guest on other pods. Love the show so far the vampire episode was awesome. Surprised they guys didn’t mention/watch the FX show The Strain!! Definitely not a 10/10 TV show but the lore and story/character arcs were engaging and fun. Seems right up their alley

i managed to miss the whole "twilight is a book" part thing before seeing the first film in theatre, and i honestly thought it was a satire; why would that chick (bella) pick the dead creepy guy over the hot werewolf. but the music was great and i was super team jacob so i bought in to the fun. as i thought about the "vampire movie satire" over time and as i started to realize "ok, robert patterson is really good at looking uncomfortable in every movie he is in" i realized that even though the first movie was still an excuse to have eye candy to the sound of clair de lune, and i joined "team bella's dad" with age, that isn't this what all vampire stories are? the long term captivating of a human soul by a beautiful but perhaps dreadful thing; why we continue to draw towards certain stories where the wonderful but not necessarily unique plot line continues, and that's why i like house of r, because sometimes it's nice to walk the path of heroes win and evil is vanquished, and sometimes that story makes sense when magneto wins instead of professor x, or darth maul is right, or even when iron man stays down and it matters. i like revisiting those stories with house of r and being sad but satisfied with losing gambit and mad at stupid dr strange for using time travel way too much for a plot. this show is a show for you if you find yourself getting lost in "big name" films and wanting to shout "no, it's popular because it's actually good". it's for you if you can't watch infinity war without crying -- even though you know what will happen! or if you go back to the first x files movie because this time they will kiss in the bee place, dammit. do you still ship poe and finn? alone on that starship for light years with chewy and the porgs? listen to this.

Fantástico

I don’t listen to every episode, but I love every episode that I do listen to.
