If anyone exemplifies the word global, it has to be Nicole Neroulias Gupte, who currently divides her time between Seattle and Delhi, where she works for Ashoka University's Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy. She first experienced relocation challenges when her husband's career moved them from New York to the Northwest a decade ago — while she was pregnant. As a new mother in a new place, she soon realized that she needed to pivot her career path, from newspapers to nonprofits. More recently, after years of seeking out role models and inspiring examples of trailing spouses, she decided it was time to create a media platform to amplify those stories — and thus, Trailing-Spouse.com was born.
