How often do we take the road less traveled because it feels best in our gut? Not often enough if you ask me! Today’s guest, Georgia Thompson of @goodness_with_g, shares her experience following intuition to create the future she always craved all while listening to that ‘pull’ in her gut. As a college student Georgia knew what her future should look like and did what it took to make that happen. Even as she made her way into the big corporate career in the city she loved, something didn’t feel right. By following her intuition and letting go of expectations, Georgia took one step towards the future she always craved and the rest fell into place. She learned that our biggest ‘failure’ can actually be a form of redirection in life to lead us where we’re meant to be.
In this episode we discuss:
- The enneagram test and how it has impacted her life
- Showing up as our authentic selves, ‘good’ and ‘bad’ character strengths included
- The transition from college to corporate and the expectations to succeed
- Following an interest and having it turn into a lifestyle
- The difference between pressure and passion for our work
- Not placing self worth in a degree, finances, or a work title
- When Georgia decided to leave it all and start her blog
- How biggest ‘failure’ opens the door to growth and new opportunities
