How alternative healing is helping the treatment of PTSD in first responders and military, with holistic practitioner Emily Day
Empowered Hearts listeners meet Emily Day; a wellness councillor and holistic practitioner who treats first responders and military personnel who are suffering from PTSD, addiction, stress and physical aliments.
Emily, personally affected by trauma and addiction in her upbringing went on a personal mission of healing. She learned alternative healing methods such as breath-work, somatics, and subconscious work. Emily, like a lot of holistic practitioners today, found that the "regular" ways of working through trauma and addiction just weren't cutting it.
Through her personal success and transformation, Emily now shares a multitude of healing modalities with men and women from different walks of life, but especially those with military and first responder backgrounds.
This is truly a story of personal empowerment turned into service for others.
Love,
Morgan & Krystle
