Answer is:
Number one, you want to make sure that you have the knowledge, expertise, experience, and whatever it is that you want to sell.
People know right away if you do, or you don't, and they're going to know if you are being genuine and authentic with your experience.

Number two, you want to make sure that you are an effective communicator, that you are actually asking questions and understanding what is it your consumer wants. Instead of just guessing what they want or assuming, that won't benefit you.
The third thing that you want to do to be successful in sales is to recognize that building relationships is the key to selling. When you build a relationship and somebody gets to know you, trust you, like you... that in itself will help you make the sale.
If you're doing sales correctly, the sale will almost happen on its own.

The sales call should be the last theme that you are doing. When you focus on these steps and the sales success method that I teach and speak on, you will recognize more than anything that sales become a breeze because you're focusing on selling a service or a product that you love and you're recognizing that it really isn't about the product or the service. It's really about what that transformation or what that advantage is going to be to the consumer.
