Sometimes you don't need a tripod because you can put the camera right on the ground! Getting low angle shots doesn't get any lower than the ground.

    After an Autumn Shower

    After an Autumn Shower

Autumn is one of the best times of the year for photographers. Everyone loves the changing colors! But everyone take the sweeping foliage shots. This isn't that shot. Yet, it's still a very red maple leaf, only with character.

    Dahlia

    Dahlia

Today, we're talking about a photo called Dahlia. Dahlia's and mums are, to me, synonymous with autumn. In the Pacific Northwest, and many other places, summer days can seem to last into September and this year was no exception to that. They also have many different varieties and what I like about this one was that it reminded me of sunshine and daisies. It has the most vibrant yellow outer petals and the smaller inner petals that have vibrant pink tips that stand out like fire on the sun.
