How Not to Be a Victim Munger Place Church - Dallas, Texas

    • Christianity

The victim mindset is really limiting and really destructive.

By victim mindset, I mean a mindset that tells you:

•that you have no choice but to be a passive recipient of harm from other people;

•that you have no agency;

•that you need to keep on feeling sorry for yourself.
The victim mindset is pervasive in American culture today, and it’s holding us back.

Thanks be to God there is an alternative way to live.

For example, the Apostle Paul never adopts a victim mindset, even when he’s in prison!

Let’s talk about it.
