How Stress Makes You Fat, The Truth About Calories Get Fit with Jodelle

Why do people struggle, often for their whole lives, to lose fat or stay skinny? It’s definitely not for lack of trying.

I’m going to start of with a blog post excerpt of my next guest…..And as a teaser, this guest as been requested by some of my listeners….So here is his blog post which will kick off what we will be talking about today….

He Writes: "Calories are simply a measure of energy. So from this view, excess body fat, a storage form of energy, is a result of excess energy, or too many calories in and not enough calories out. It’s a simple problem with a simple solution: eat fewer calories and expend more calories, or eat less and exercise more!"

And where has this left us? Constantly restricting ourselves, constantly forcing ourselves to exercise, and constantly not getting the results that we put so much effort towards. And worse, often we’re left with cravings, fatigue, and deteriorating health.

It’s a simple, logical equation: if you have fewer calories in than calories out, you lose fat. So where did we go wrong?

So to answer this question that many of us have asked ourselves when it comes to the fat loss and diet mentality I’m happy to welcome Jay Feldman to my podcast.

Jay Feldman is an health coach, independent health researcher, and the host of The Energy Balance Podcast and this guy's vast knowledge on all things fat loss, health and energy balance is sure to have you re-thinking your current health modalities. He has been inspired by the great Dr Ray Peat which we all love and from a very young age has been studying nutrition and wellness on a bioenergetic level.
