How To Get Your Life Back Into Balance with Brie Hintze The Art of Winning

    • Entrepreneurship

“So if you want to make a change, change one thing, maybe it's, I need to drink more water focus on that when you feel like you've mastered drinking more water, then maybe add the next element. And I always if you're looking for where to start, the first place to start is always with your sleep. When you're not getting at least seven hours of sleep a night your hormone production is off (ghrelin), the hormone is an overdrive because you're not getting the sleep that you need. And that hormone makes you hungrier, makes you crankier and it makes you grab all those foods because you're just your body's trying to survive because it has no fuel from the sleep.” - Brie Hintze

Career, family, health – there so much stuff that needs to be done and with what feels like very little time, how could we successfully manage each without sacrificing the other? Today we sit down with fitness instructor, military spouse, Salesforce consultant and a mum of three, Brie Hintze to share how she was able to build the life she wants without compromising her health.

Brie lives in Los Angeles with her Air Force husband and 3 kids and they are enjoying their time at this duty station. She has four years of instructor experience, teaching formats from High Fitness and Barre to Reformer Pilates (her new favorite!). Before teaching fitness, she did marketing for a boutique fitness studio. All of her years in fitness have shown her just how hard women can be on themselves, and how much misinformation there is about health and movement. While she is a busy working professional, she finds teaching fitness a special space where she can share her upbeat energy and positive vibes with many other incredible women.
When she isn't working or exercising, she loves to spend time with her family outside or make homemade pizza from scratch.

“One thing I've learned as a mom is that you're so busy taking care of everybody else that's important to your life. And it's not that you're telling yourself, you're not important. But when you consistently put everybody else in front of you and fail to take care of your needs, you're telling yourself that you don't matter  as a result of that.” - Brie Hintze
“I think it's important to set yourself up for success. If you are putting too much on yourself at once. We're already so hard on ourselves. Don't give yourself more things to feel bad about yourself something to feel good about. Give yourself an easy win. And that's why it can just be a small incremental time.“ - Brie Hintze
