Have you ever wondered why some people succeed in business and others with the same exact credentials or experience fail?  Could it be that the secret to success is ultimately within our own power?  Do you know how to properly sell yourself?  Do you know how to be your best advocate?  Do you know how to take care of YOU and help others see how worthwhile you are?  If not, perhaps my guest today can show you how to do that.   In September of 2019, I interviewed Lydia Fenet.  Lydia is the Global Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships and Lead Benefit Auctioneer at Christie’s Auction House.  She is also a keynote speaker and author of the book “The Most Powerful Woman in the Room is You”.  According to Lydia, one of the secrets to success is how we present ourselves to others.  Whether you’re applying for a job, making a presentation to a client, asking someone on a date, or just getting your kids to eat their peas, Lydia advises us to create an image in our mind of how we want other people to think of us.  Now that you have that picture in your mind, ask yourself, “Is that how I’m appearing to others?”  If not, what can you do differently?  Lydia shares the secrets of her success in her book, and gives us a sneak peek into some in today’s episode.
