My favorite movie podcast!
This is that rarest of podcast that is both super funny and informative. The hosts have an amazing rapport and you will want them all to be your hilarious BFFs. And they really know their stuff when it comes to film - they all have unique tastes, and are really great at putting into words why something does or doesn't work for them. But always in an entertaining and endearing way. The games, especially Netflix or Notflix (and several variations on the theme) are solid gold. You don't need to have seen these movies or like them to enjoy. Some of my favorite episodes are about movies that I haven't seen, and may never see! But even those episodes have made me really think about my own taste in movies, and why I like what I like and don't like what I don't! If that's not the mark of a great movie podcast, I don't know what is.
It's all about Pat
There's something about the melifluous lilt of his voice, like a platic bag dancing on the breeze—it stirs my soul, touches me deep in my rumble-pouch. His laughter is infectious, his insights startling. His essence reaches through the speakers and permeates my being, his aura mingling with mine, two becoming one. It is sensual but fatherly, a give and take that knows no earthly bounds, transcends the shackles of time, communing with terrible lizards whilst bestowing light upon future generations of media consumers. He is the great I AM of my ear holes. Thank you for this gift.
