    A daily routine includes activities you do every day, usually in the same order, like waking up at the same time, going to the gym, or engaging in hobbies. These routines keep us grounded, but life’s responsibilities and pressures can be overwhelming. Top achievers need to adapt, innovate, and push boundaries constantly.

    Here’s how you can build excellence into your daily routine:

    1. Develop Empowering Habits and Break Limiting Beliefs. Identify and replace limiting habits with empowering ones. Track your habits, understand triggers, and make gradual changes.

    2. Set Daily Structures. Align your routines with your goals. Get an accountability partner and create a supportive environment.

    3. Integrate Routines. Let routines guide you instead of relying on willpower. Start small, replace one limiting habit with a positive one, and remain consistent.

    Routines make actions automatic, reducing the need for willpower.

    Masterpiece Days (Part 4): One Day, Three Parts...

    Ever feel like your days are slipping away without any real progress? Imagine transforming just one day into a powerful structure that ensures you win, flourish, and thrive.

    Today, we’re diving into part 4 of our mini-series “Masterpiece Days." Today's focus is "One Day... Three Parts" - a simple yet effective way to master your day.

    **Let’s Go!**

    Breaking it Down:Your day isn’t just a blur of hours; it’s a series of intentional actions. By dividing your day into three parts, you create a rhythm that honors your goals, ensures you win, and supports your well-being.

    AM Routine:This is your launchpad, the place where you set the bar and start strong. Having an AM routine is non-negotiable. Whether it’s hitting the gym, training for that Spartan race, or setting aside time for meditation and journaling, your morning sets the tone and gets you ready mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

    PM Routine:How do you wind down? I recommend having a shutdown alarm. Mine is set for 7:45 PM. When it goes off, it’s a cue to celebrate the day. Take a deep breath, slow down your brain, re-center yourself, and shut down. This PM routine takes only a minute or two. Reflect on your day, express gratitude, and acknowledge your wins. If you’re with someone, invite them to join you and celebrate together.

    Time Blocks:In between the AM and PM routines, we have time blocks. This is where the magic happens. Schedule focused periods for work, breaks, and personal time. Identify your key tasks and fit them into these blocks. Protect these blocks fiercely. Write down the activities that energize you and commit to them daily.

    Remember, this isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a flow that helps you stay focused, balanced, and fulfilled.

    For the next week, try this out:1. Design your AM routine with activities that motivate and prepare you.

    2. Set your PM alarm and use it as a reminder to anchor, practice gratitude, and celebrate.

    3. Time-block your day, ensuring you have dedicated periods for your most important tasks.

    If you're ready to tap into your power, today is the day. NOW is the time. Not yesterday, Not tomorrow, NOW!

    Your life is happening today.

    Today is the day, and the choice to be in action is yours! You alone get to decide the target, and when you aim and fire! It’s up to you if today is the day you move closer to finding love, going after your dreams, or simply breaking through what you have been resisting.

    Today is the day you get to make that choice that defines your future. Choosing today means seizing the moment and taking action. It’s about choosing the path that will have the greatest impact on your life.

    Success isn't made in one day; it's made by right action, day after day, over and over. The great news is when you stack days and wins, when you do the work, when you show up, your life will change.

    Choose your target wisely by focusing on the one thing you want to achieve today! Focus just on that one thing! Make it your top priority. Know this: if it's the only thing you accomplish today, trust that it will have the biggest impact on your life.

    Stop thinking. Stop negotiating. Take aim and fire!

    Today, we explore a powerful practice called WOOP – Wish, Outcome, Obstacle, Plan. Learn how to use this simple yet transformative method to turn your wildest dreams into concrete goals and actionable steps. Discover how WOOP can help you stay focused, overcome obstacles, and achieve your most important goals.

    WOOP is an acronym that stands for Wish, Outcome, Obstacle, and Plan. Let’s jump into WOOP!

    1. Wish: First, you start with a vision of your ideal, most important goal. Picture the details.

    2. Outcome: Visualize the outcome. Think about the success of your goal. What does it look like when completed? Why are you fired up about achieving this goal? What benefits will you achieve? What’s in it for you?

    3. Obstacle: Here is where you rub that vision up against reality. Identify the obstacles you’ll likely face and the limiting beliefs you will have to deal with along the journey. Remember, obstacles make us stronger.

    4. Plan: Create a plan. Consider what you’ll need to do when facing those obstacles and how you will move through them.

Martin is the real deal

I have known Martin for almost 7 years. I read his book The Curiosity Theory before I had met him, but was so inspired by his writing that I reached out to him because I wanted to learn from him. Nearly 7 years later, I am still learning from him but I am blessed to call Martin a friend also. This podcast a a grain of salt in comparison to his vast knowledge and excellent wisdom. I recommend this podcast and all of Martins work.
