How do you know if you are wrong?
Reading Jeff Hawkins new book a Thousand Brains. He talks about how our brains think and how the brain can come to believe things that aren’t true. He says the best way to learn if you are wrong is to actively seek out evidence that you are wrong and to be open to being wrong so you can learn and be less wrong. Good advice. #humanism #skepticism #criticalthinking

A great mixture of commentary on contemporary topics and introduction to humanist philosophy.
Practical philosophy in action
The podcast does a great job of describing how to take a belief system (humanism) and apply it to everyday concerns, whether dealing with difficult people, bullying, and other situations in life. Recommended for thoughtful people who want to be less ivory tower and more real life.
