    Glimpse Inside #1 | 9/11, WW2, Conspiracies, Family, Love

    Glimpse Inside #1 | 9/11, WW2, Conspiracies, Family, Love

We finish this year off with this unreleased episode that we recorded on 9/11.

Glimpse Inside will be an ongoing segment where Freddy & Blake have conversations about the world, ideas, the past, the present, and the future.

In this episode, we discuss 9/11, this monumental day in America's history, from two perspectives: born-in-this-county citizen (Blake) and an immigrant to this nation (Freddy).

Despite its many imperfections, never before has there been a country that offers so much to their citizens as America does in the way of having a dream and capitalizing on it.

Will our thoughts about the future come true? Have they already?

    Listen and find out…

17 - Alan Turpin | Stories from Austin State Hospital (a.k.a. Texas State Lunatic Asylum)

    Today's guest is a special one — he's Blake's father-in-law!

Alan is a lifelong Austinite, born & raised. Not knowing what he "wanted to do in life" lead him to a wide variety of jobs. Those jobs brought a wealth of stories with brilliant & crazy humans.

With us he shares some wild stories of growing up in a time when MoPac & 183 was farmland, working at the Austin State Hospital for the mentally handicapped/insane, as well as stories from the ER at Brackenridge Hospital downtown.

A life full of lessons, and a fair share of self-deprecating humility, we hope you enjoy listening to our conversation.
