The future of hunting is imperiled. More and more hunters are competing for limited numbers of licenses. Public land hunting is overcrowded, and private land hunting is increasingly unavailable to those unable or unwilling to pay for it. These are the dominant problems facing hunters today, and nobody in the hunting industry and hunting entertainment is talking about them. That is because they cause and even benefit from these problems, as do some hunting nonprofits. Join Matt Rinella and his guests as they rethink the future of hunting and implement steps to save our cherished pastime. Visit huntquietly.org to learn more.

Podcast Quietly
A refreshing, and at times, bracing outdoors podcast — vastly different and more original than the usual pissing contests. It can be disorganized and haphazard at times, but the subject matter and viewpoints are critical to the broader discussion of hunting in the 21st century, and I imagine HQ will find its course!
Eastern Elk Episode
Love the podcast! In this episode specifically, I was hoping to learn more about the extinct eastern elk subspecies. There is little to no content out there on the eastern elk and was hoping that would be covered more. Lots of questions on how the eastern elk thrived in Pennsylvania prior to them being exterminated from the region in the late 1800’s. Were there similarities between the original eastern elk and the Rocky Mountain elk that were brought in from Yellowstone? You’ll have to have him on again to talk about the TRUE Eastern Elk! Lol love the podcast and everything you all are doing with making a positive impact on hunting. 5 stars
